It all depends on who isa running the event, and the number of vehicles that
enter into the class.
If there are not enough vehicles to split the class apart, they probably
won't. It costs more money for trophies and such.
As with the previous thread, everyone has an opinion, and people will often
not agree on what is *correct*. If this type of thing happens at an event,
the simplest way is to see if you can get a consensus among the entrants,
and see if the group of you can either get the club running the event to see
it your way, or use it as a change for future events.

just wanted to pick your brain a bit since you have judged some shows.
i have been to a few shows this year where i have entered as a
minitruck.operative word is truck. at these shows i have been and several
friends that i see regularly have gotten beat by a minivan , in the
miniTRUCK class. just curious as to what you think.
i tried to argue that they should move because they for one reason don't
have a truck license. and another it doesn't say minvan on the class label.
