None of the above. The BM 150 struggled keeping my '99 318 4x4 cool in NY
summer heat once I had to stop at a light. As long as I was moving,
everything was OK, but once I slowed way down or stopped, the gauge hit 210
and didn't come down.

I bought the BM 150 from Quicktruk99 in NJ, who couldn't keep his 2WD Gen3
318 cool with it. It worked for me...for a while. Destroying the fan in
Jon's mudpit was probably a good thing for me, now I've got the factory fan
back on and I feel much more comfortable.

I've heard of Flex fans taking themselves apart at speed. Flying shards of
steel are not cool.

If you decide to go electric, get a dual fan setup. And if it's a Gen3 and
you manage to make it work, *please* write it up with sources, as I'd like
to do it myself. Haven't found the right parts yet, based on dimensions,
to make it work.
