re:Synthetic oil question

I started using 10w-30 synthetic blend at around 100k mile with no
problems. I was starting on a cross country vacation towing a 24' trailer
and
wanted as much engine protection as possible. I liked it and I've used
Valvoline and Castrol brands since.
Got 200k+ miles now
