Pretty soft shifting and totally electronic controlled I expect. There may not
be a way to put a shift kin in it. My wifes 96 Cougar has an electronic trans
and the trans shop says you cannot put a shift kit in it, however if you manually
upshift the Ferd trans 1-2 at full throttle it grabs rubber every time and my R/T
wont. I wish there was a way just to firm up the 1-2 shift on a 46re without
havint to put a whole shift kit in it.
