My 98 5.2 with open headers, slicks, Cal-Tracs, Centerforce clutch has run a
BEST of 9.258 in the 1/8. And this is with a 4500 rpm holeshot!!! My 2K
R/T runs about the same (its stock except for a PCM). No f***ing way is a
6cylinder running those numbers without some sort of assistance!!! (Maybe
he had a JATO in the bed for that run).
