The Dodge cat is actually a rather cheap design. I had a local muffler
shop show me the innards of the Dodge catalytic converter. (It's really
not that well built.)

Ive been considering buying it from you however dodge will replace it
for free until 80k correct? Ultimately I plan on getting one from you
however Ive gone through 4 cats already in 40k miles so i need to figure
out what is causing this otherwise ill be coming back to you for another
one. Good for you/bad for me.

It's a common problem and the performance really goes down when it
happens.
If you want, I carry the CarSound High-Flow cats (in stock) for the
Dodge's.

My catalytic converter is absolutely shot. It sounds like a millions
marbles rolling around my exhaust. It has been getting worse and worse
but all the dodge dealers around here cant get a cat in for a couple
more weeks. So the more i drive it the worse the truck runs. I know the
oxygen sensor after the cat compensates for the performance of the cat
but now i cant get the truck to stay running. It stumbles and chugs and
is all over the rpm range....when i let off the gas the rpms drop below
500 and it dies. Is this common when cats are as bad as can be?
