Check out Recon Engines. They offer two grades of rebuilt (and dyno
tested if required) engines...ready to bolt it. (Plugs, filter, and
pre-oiled).

I've been looking a remanufactured engines for mine as well. $650 for a
short block, $1000 for a long block. Add $350 for a core charge. This
is the average of what I have found so far. I'm still hunting around.
