P0455 - EVAP LEAK MONITOR LARGE LEAK DETECTED

TEST NOTE
This symptom is diagnosed using the test P0442 - EVAP LEAK MONITOR
MEDIUM (0.040) LEAK DETECTED.

WHEN MONITORED
Immediately after a cold start, with battery/ambient temperature between
40 °F and 90 °F and coolant temperature within 10 °F of battery/ambient
temperature.

SET CONDITION
There is a leak larger than 0.080" in the evaporative system.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
Confirmed leak in the EVAP system
Intermittent LDP monitor failure

P1687 - NO CLUSTER BUS MESSAGES

POSSIBLE CAUSES

Instrument cluster
Open CCD(+) circuit
Open CCD(-) circuit
Wiring harness intermittent problem
PCM CCD bus circuit open
PCM CCD bus shorted to B+
PCM internal CCD bus open

Did you mess around with the evap can under the truck (or a disconnected
line to/from the evap)? On the 1687: Bad ground, or harness was
disconnected and the key turned on is the most common cause.

Subject: DML: Codes 2000 4.7

       Hey Folks,

I was checking to see if anyone could tell me what the following codes
are. I
checked the trouble codes on the Main DML page but it didn't have
these:

       P0442
       P0455
       P1687
Any help would be appreciated
