Johnie,

Any more info on that supercharger? I looked for that article on the Sport
Truck site, but I'm not sure which one it is.

<< magnuson does make a supercharger that runs on pump gas supposedly on 89
octane..i read an article in sport truck magazine 2 issues back..it was a
comparison kb ati powerdyne and magnuson and???magnuson elected to run there
on gas...instead of the 108 or 110 octane gas that everyone else used
courtesy of shell or vp..as for as 89 octane with a sc..well i run a kb with
6 psi and i run 93 mobil gas and i have no pinging the kb will retard the
timing automatically,it comes w/ a knock detector..if i want to race it i
run 108 octane race fuel and unplug my knock detector..on the weekends i run
93 and an octane booster and get little or no pinging...the kb is great for
torque and i find the best for the street or towing..if i had to do it again
i would go ati or vortech because it allows easy access for simple repairs
and upkeep..changing plugs is a major job..dont get me wrong i love my kenne
bell, its kit is very complete and complex.about 25lbs of wiring..its
probably the most reliable sc on the market..for the street there is no
other sc better..johnie 98 r/t kb sc with a few other mods and some in
progress thanks to bernd, randy and my friend and mechanic stephan.. >>
