Just because the guy seems violent (to me, he's one two sided @#$#$ but
that's okay)
we cleared out the rest of the garage and parking is fine now.
I forgot to add 2 things towards my side of the story.
1) we rarely park 1 car behind our driveway in the street. his EXACT quote
was "in the past 5 months, I had to come warn you 2 times, this being the
second" (the guy was just being a prick) He can't seem to understand that
people have friends and they like to visit the house and when there isn't
any more place to park, we park directly behind the driveway but it's as
the term goes "bumper to bumper"
2) the car that was parked in the street the second time was a friend's car.
I calmly explained that he would be leaving in 30 minutes and the car
wouldn't be in the way. My friend actually didn't even park the car yet, he
was about to park there, but he reversed out and parked it way down the
street. and to my defense, the entire driveway was full.
I am sorry if this bugged anyone starting a thread like this, but I did hate
the fact that I was threatened, and that he attempted to make an ass out of
me in front of my friends. I would have calmly came over another day and
asked, instead of marching thru our lawn and trying to pick a fight in front
of his 4-5 year old daughter.
Thanks to all who responded, and I will have a chat with the police about
the guy pretty soon.

In Texas where I live you can park in the street legally unless in a
designated
no parking zone as long as you do not block someone's driveway. If I were
you I
would call the police and file assault charges against the neighbor even if
he
did not physically hit you and after he paid a fine or spend the night in
jail
he might think twice before threatening you again. You have witnesses so he
cannot get out of it by claiming he did nothing. I too live on a cul de sak
and
can only park 1 car in front of my house but the postman does not like the
mailbox to be blocked.
