Hey Jay!

The flat side goes against the cylinder head. The angled seat on the plug
will collapse the gasket when torqued.

Subject: DML: 3923 gasket question

No flames here about killing animals, people not knowing about O2 sensors,
A/F etc. etc. etc. just a question about how this gasket should go on this
plug. I've heard different ideas but I'm thinking the larger flat side goes
against the plug and the rounded side comes in contact with the combustion
chamber in the head. So am I correct or is it the other way around?

Thanks for any advice,
Jay
