The throwout bearing, which is the mother of all pains to replace, simply
because it's a dinky little $12 part that you have to drop the tranny to
replace. :)
It's a matter of opinion, but I try to do everything to prolong the life of
little things like that. It takes half a second to put the clutch back down
and grab first when the light changes, plus you can relax your left foot
while waiting :-)
