Had similar problem. Drawing the amperage low beams and fog lights draws
overheats the headlight switch. Replace the headlight switch and wire the
fog lights through a relay to a constant hot. Fire the relay with a toggle
or key switch. You will probably have to do some work on the headlight
switch plug on the wire harness also.
