This one appears to be Jackson #2. From the pictures, the rear of the
breechblock has been "sliced" off.
Also clearly visible is the Watervleit Arsenal stamp from 1953.
The picture down the bore doesn't show enough detail to tell if the rifling
has been cut. The engine transplant is certainly innovative. Can you picture
the parts request?
"Hello, yeah, I need to convert from a Ford, gas, V-8 to a Russian diesel
V-12. I'll need a bell housing and an adapter plate to mate to the Ford
5-speed manual transmission."
On second thought, it would probably be easier to swap out the entire drive
train and mate it to the track drives.
