I believe the tuned runners will still function with boost.
Look at it this way;
The pistons are providing vacuum and mother nature
is providing 14.7#'s of pressure.
There will be an intake charge whether it's 14.7# or
23.7# (9#boost), traveling towards the intake valve
that will be stopped at the intake valve, the momentum
will cause it to build up, bounce back, and then reverse
again, and will hopefully arrive at the valve at the correct
time. Now the extra boost may cause the pressure wave
to speed up or slow down and effect the tuned RPM, but
the change would be insignificant.

I'm no expert, but I would try the M1 because you have it,
if you feel you need more torque the longer runners of
the 2bbl should help.
