Did anyone read the 1/2 ton truck review in one of the latest truck rags
on the newstands? The new Dodge 1/2 ton sport model w/4.7L engine
scored the lowest performance data when put up next to the Chivvy, Ferd,
and Toy 1/2 ton models. They slammed the 4.7L as being too weak an
engine for that much truck. They also called it old and outdated.
Also, did anyone see the dyno numbers reported from the stroked 360
(408ci) buildup? They got over 600 hp from a naturally-aspirated
smallblock LA motor pulled from an old (76 I think) van. Even w/a
supercharger, turbo, and/or nitrous - the 4.7L would still be struggling
to keep up.
