If you are looking for some hidden storage area take a
look at the box below. It fits below the torneau
cover so it is out of sight. I was also able to add
two bike hitches to it.
A couple of notes.
1. to secure it to the bed I got some cable and
fasteners from Home Depot. Drilled a hole on each
side near the handles and secured the cable to the tie
down points on each side of the bed. Inside I used a
fastener that can be removed.
2. for the bike hitch you need two items
a. the bike hitches can be found at REI or
Performancebike.com
b. an alumium "L" bracket 36" x 1/4"? that is used for
support - from Home Depot
This bracket is placed inside the chest behind the gas
assist arm. You do need to cut about 1" off each side
of the bracket so that you can close the chest.
Position the hitches drill the holes through the box
top and alumium support and you're ready to go.

With my torneau cover the hitches do not even touch
the cover.
goo luck.
