Go to another exhaust shop. They can put in another CAT only if the
original is damaged (physically), otherwise a defective CAT is covered
under warranty (which they then would only replace with OEM).

I want a highflow cat on my truck, but the places iv'e been to said
simply... the onlything they can do is replace it with the equivalent to
factory cat... plain and simple... I have a high flow cat somone put on
before I bought it... and I guess thats illegal... and it would be like
taking a step back in my exhast
