You should not have to use a universal. I can access all 8 plugs using a
8" extension for plug 6 and 8, and a shorter 3" extension for all other
plugs. I have changed out plugs at least 15 times, and have yet to break
one. I even took off the heat shields. BTW my Dak is a '95

For those of you that have the 318, where is the best place in your
opinion to position this universal swivel thingy when replacing your
hard to reach plugs, on the plug socket, on the ratchet itself, or in
between the 2 extensions (when needed) ? I just don't want no more
broken plugs and knuckles.
