Hey, DML!
Ok... never mind... the microwave trick worked - with a little help from a
flat tipped screwdriver that I put to the bench grinder & took the sharp
edges off...(kinda rounded - like an ole tire iron). Thx, anyway.
Now for something completely different....in order to make the Flowmaster
fit ( it's 6" shorter than the OEM), looks like I gotta get a 6" section of
reducer/adapter pipe. The question is...would it be better to add the
additional piece AFTER the Flowmaster? Seems to me to be the smarter way to
go, but, then again, I've never been confused with any of the local rocket
scientists...
