I just replaced my engine a while ago so I have numbers for both:

Original 93 3.9L V6 (215,000 miles)
City=17 mpg
Highway=22 mpg
Best=24.4

New 93 3.9L V6 (81,000 + 2000 miles since install)
City=14 mpg :(
Highway=23

BTW, I have a shaved and rounded-bore TB, a 3" catback exhaust, and an electric fan to help roll the 235/75/15 Dueller AT tires.
