If dakotas have hydraulic clutches..
your slave cylinder could be bad
your clutch is worn out
your clutch finger are worn out
there's air in the system (bleed it)
or the resevoir for the clutch fluid is low (also fill and bleed)
how many miles on that clutch and how aggressive do you drive?
