not to say you or C&D are liars but man that seems much faster...my truck
ran 16.9 in the 1/4 last year but I am adding a lot of stuff. 3.90 gears,
pulley, elect fan, I have a V8 TB and modified intake manifold. also I bit
better on the stick...I think that 300M would beat me with the auto stick...
I was guessing it to be a mid 14's car. I bet with a better exhaust and
intake it would really haul ass...

Not as fast as you think but probably faster than your V6 pick em up
truck...according to Car & Driver the stats are:
0-60 7.8 sec
0-100 21.2 sec
1/4 mile 15.9 sec
All in all, respectable numbers for a 250 hp full size sedan and the price
is not bad either.

my aunt just got a 02 300M with everything but the "special"...3.5 high

has 2-3 Catalytic converters and 3 mufflers! anyone know how fast it would
be if you put 0-1 cat and 1 high flow muffler? I may have to get one of
