The engine in my 2001 V6 Dak is starting to knock already and it only
has 4600 miles on it! I run 87 octane gasoline in it as recommended.
Do you guys think that it is time to start running 89 octane or higher
in it? With gas prices going sky-high, especially here in PA, I'd
rather not have to spend a fortune just to fill my tank. But it is kind
of embarrassing and frustrating to have a fairly new truck knock.
