Help with speed controler....

Hello-

I just put a Ford 9" in my rear. I have a '98 4x4. I didn't realize at
the time, that our speed sensor is in the rear axle!!! Yea yea.
Anyway, is there anyone who has swapped there rear out and fixed this
problem???
Will the tail shaft off a 97 4x4's transfer case work on mine??? What
case do they have?
I know the sensor is in the transfer case in those.

Any help is appreciated.
