Oh! Sorry, at 10K with heavy driving habits, you could lose up to 2MPG
(based on a V6).

Subject: DML: So... How long do O2 sensors live??

The title pretty much says it all.
My 99CC 318 seems to have been gradually losing it's fuel efficiency over
the last 5k or so. I remember talk on the list some time ago that o2
sensors gradually lose their reaction speed over time and are best replaced
at 60k or so. Yes/No?? My Dak has 51k miles now.
The mileage loss is despite plugs. cap, rotor, plugwires, TB cleaning etc.
Any ideas other than the o2 sensor why my mileage is goin south??

Thanks
Ken
