It is the same as buying a Tahoe. It cost GM only 9600 dollars (rough) to
build those SUV. Then they sell them to the dealer for 15K less than the
MSRP.

Sure it might only cost GM $9600 to produce a Tahoe in mass
production....But it cost millions and millions to build the first
one....... Then they have to pay their employees. I agree that they make
good money off of vehicles, but not as much as you think. The key is
volume! A few years ago the Grand Cherokee was DC's highest profit margin
vehicle. They pocketed approx $6500 for every one sold.
