  Ahh, I get it. :-) I can see why you might think that, but that sleeve
above the nut is actually a part of the nut itself. Just put your socket
on the nut and turn the whole thing off. The threads are standard, so just
back the nut off counterclockwise. Here's a pic of what the nut looks like:

  Its kind've blurry - I just ran down to the barn and took a quick
