I just bought a 2002 Ram Quad Cab 4x4 and it has more than enough power to
get it going. I frankly didn't see the point in paying the extra cash to get
the 5.9L because it only has 5 more Hp, and 35 more lb-ft of torque. Pretty
impressed so far with the 4.7L. Haven't heard anything about a sludge
buildup.....

This must be a poor sales person who should be fired for telling a customer
that if he buys a new truck it will have a sludge problem. The only
complaint from the road test magazines is that the 4.7 does not have enough
torque for use in the 4 door 4X4 Ram models because they are so heavy. The
5.7 hemi should solve that problem!!!!!
