If it's a '97 or older, it connects directly to the factory harness.
1998+ models require the Accel adapter harness.

cool, I did know the difference between the accel and msd systems
either...thanks for all the good info. By the way, does the accel coil
hook up direct as well or does it need a supplemental harness of some
kind? I thought that I understood that accel was going to produce a
direct fit coil for the Daks. Rascal

The ACCELL 300+ is the easiest to install, and most compact requires
very little space and is a simple plug-in installation after mounting
the control box, excellent bang for the buck value, I highly recommend
this ignition system.
