at my employer we also have some straps 6" by 12ft, loops on both ends, it
was a failed attempt to prevent back injuries, by looping the strap over the
ends of drawbars between box cars to help align them, they are rated at 6000
lbs, but easily snap when shocked hard by say a locomotive!
ever see, a 6" nylon strap tear, the sewing always held up though!!
