Removal of Air Cond. Condensor HELP

Has anyone removed there air conditioner condensor?
I have to pull mine out to repair a leak and can't get those 2 union
type fittings apart.....is there a tool for that? It looks like theres a
spring type oring retianer in there....I'm pulling like hell and they
won't come apart.

Also is there a seal in there that has to be replaced once it's broken
apart?

I'd like to get this out today..
