I live down in houston and I always run 10-w30 Mobil1 in my truck. If
you're up there in the mileage then you might want to consider 15 or 20
w30.

I changed the oil in the 4x4 over from conventioanl oil to Mobil 1
10-w30 synthetic. This is the first summer I have had the 4x4 and have
never driven it in heat before. My problem is the oil pressure
lately has been just in the normal range. Lower than I think it should
be. I checked and I was low on oil for some reason. I added a two
quarts of oil to it which brought it up one quart over teh full line.
(grumble) I'm wondering if I am using the wrong type of oil. is 10-w30
too thin for summer driving? Its almost time for me to change the oil
again, so I want to get it right.
