The 881/886's were fun to mess with too. I cut my teeth on an old Courier 23
tube set. But before that I had my Ham stuff (Hallicrafters S38C(which I
still have, just needs a tuning cap(plate style)) and E.F. Johnson ET-10
with an 80m multi-trap Dipole strung across the backyard).
