Jon,
It's most likely caused by rust forming on the rear drums. Mine will do
it on occasion after sitting overnight in hi-humidity or a rain.
CURE: Ride the brake with your left foot for a 100 feet or so while you
are on the accelerator and that will clean the drums + warm them up to get
moisture out. A little gas and a little brake = smooth stops. Bill
