TORQUE!!!!

Anything that will rpovide more torque. Any bolt on that can provide more
torque. Horsepower carries the truck, while torque is the initial
acceleration.
* Larger rear gears or smaller diameter on tires
* Lighter tire/wheel weight
* Cold Air to the front
* Long tube headers
* Less restrictive exhaust
* Cam Profile change
* Turbo kit (SPEEDTWEAKS)
* MSD HO Ignition System
* And so on.

The little rice cars do not have the torque with the exception of the next
GT Cruiser and Neon SRT-4.

Subject: DML: Off the line...

Hey,
  One more question...regarding quicker take offs. Down here in
Jacksonville, NC it's like the Fast and the Furious everytime I drive off
base. There are always little rice burners out that are quick to race a
truck from the light...I have too much lag off the line and am curious as to
what bolt on performance products would help take care of that issue!
Remember this though...I'm in the military and don't make much...which
probably means that I just have to suck it up huh? Well thanks for the
help...
