You didnt say if you have 4X4 but since you mention coil springs, I'm
assuming you have 2X4. My question is this, why only 1 inch? If you're
going to disconnect the coil springs from the frame, you might as well go
all the way. Fabtech make a kit that raises the front about 2 inches and
levels out the truck. It includes new springs for the front and new shocks
all the way around. Although I haven't installed this kit yet, I found it
available from truck performance center at their web site. Cost is a little
over $250 plus shipping. Make sure you get a good front end alignment when
you get everything installed. I'm waiting until I get a few more goodies
and do everything at once.
