Ray,
Have you looked down thru the TB at the bottom of the intake manifold. If
you have and it's dry then it's probably not the belly pan gasket. Do like
Rich said, right after you change and refill it with new oil and crank it up
and let it idle for a minute or so, turn it off and give it 5 minutes for the
oil to all drain back into the pan and then check it. If it checks full, ok.
NOW slide something like a big piece of clean cardboard under the engine
and crank it and let it idle for 10 minutes and check for any signs of oil.
I've seen engines leak when running and not a drop just sitting.
Check to see if you have any signs of oil in the cooling system. If you
do then you know you got a bad head or head gasket. Bill
