Well, even though you won't be loading your Dak with heavy stuff in the bed,
or towing a trailer... wait a minute, why do you own a truck???
hehehehe
Anyway, the only problem with a passenger car rated tire, as opposed to a
light-truck tire, is that the car tires are meant, obviously, for a car.
And most cars weigh around the 3000 pound mark. While our trucks are not
full size, they still weigh upwards of 4000 or so pounds, i know mine weighs
nearly 5000 with just me and the crap i carry around in the bed normally.
So, bottom line, passenger car tires on the Dak will likely wear a lot
faster than an LT rated tire.
But, since you want the improved grip, you are looking in the right
direction, just keep in mind that the 60, or 80,000 km warranty for whatever
tires you get will probably be voided as soon as you put them on your truck.
If you live anywhere near a Costco warehouse store, walk in there, and talk
to the guys in the shop. They have well-priced tires, with good quality,
and they do excellent warranty work.

Good luck!!
