Tires also wear due to the slope of the roads. Left front would wear faster
due to the slope going down toward the passenger side. That is why you have
to turn the wheel a little more to the left on most roads (middle lane on
highways excluded, always do an alignment test here)
They slope the roadways so the water runs off.

BTW- I always run in the fast lane (Left) so the slope is opposite here ;)
