I called Pace-Edwards to day and chatted with one of the Tec's for about 45
minutes. They have a 2000 CC as a company truck. Mike said that when they
installed the lock on their tailgate they broke the handle before the gate
opened. He is going to have one of the guys that knows the lock call me
Tuesday morning. After the call I took the lock and handle part out of the
gate, reassembled to 2 in the house and started to tinker with them, After a
while I saw that the lock needed to be closer (higher) to the handle. The
holes for the 3 tork screws were already as far up as they would go. Out
came the drimale and there is plenty of adjustment to play with now! Went
out to the truck and mounted, adjusted and then tested the lock. Now I'm
very satisfied with the lock!!!!
I did find the Pop'n'Lock power unit in 1 of there catalogs. I like the
Pace-Ewards set-up.
