The only other thing that I haven't seen mentioned is
the fuel pressure check relief valve which is part of
the fuel pump. It's possible that it's leaking a little and
allowing a bit of the fuel back into the tank during a relatively,
long shutdown period ... enough so as to cause a
momentary lean mixture on startup. Just a thought :-)
