Have you pulled the throttle body and cleaned the IAC and the throttle
body good. Your IAC may be dirty and causing the vacuum to be excessive on
the crankcase breather. If you plug the vacuum line from the PCV the IAC
should compensate for the lack of idle air your getting thru the PCV.
Try this, remove the line on the opposite valve cover and plug the
opening in this valve cover with a piece of cardboard and see if the engine
draws a vacuum on the crankcase.
