Am I guessing that this is a power seat? If so mine does that and the
dealer told me it was just an inherent part of the design. Mine doesn't
move that much but enough to just be annoying.

That sounds like the "rocking chair" that a LOT of Durango owners have
experienced. No recall, but I think there might be a TSB on it.
