RE: Radiator hoses

Unless there's something not turning on the waterpump (as in the
impeller)...I have yet to see a Flowkooler not work properly. (Not to
throw that out of the equation...just more unlikely.)

I'd look at the t'stat first...make sure it's operating properly.

Yes, I agree, the problem is the Flowkooler in my opinion

If you're overheating that's a sign of a more serious problem. Even if
the Flowkooler didn't cool as well you still shouldn't overheat,
especially since you have a 180º t-stat.

It's the right pump, just does not cool as well as the stock unit. I
never overheated before I put on a Flowkooler Rascal

Could be a bad pump but also, what is the part # of your pump? Our
trucks have engine assemblies where the pump goes in reverse rotation.
If you have a standard rotation pump and your belt is on correctly then
your pump is rotating the wrong way which means very little cooling. No
bueno! I don't believe that the belt will fit incorrectly but some
people manage. Check that the belt is on the inside of the water pump
pulley, in other words, it's the smooth side of the belt against the
pulley. If it ain't like that you has a problem! :-(
