I can see the mechanic looking at your repair order now.... <I'll flash your
a$$!> "Hmmmm, I guess I'd better leave his PCM alone".... " but wait,
what's this extra pump-looking thing here, that's not suppose to be on these
trucks, must be extraneous...I'll just rip that thing outta there; that'll
make it run better, and I won't have touched his PCM....LOL..." "Okay, Sir
Bill, your truck's ready to go; I found some extra junk in your engine
compartment causing extra weight but you don't have to worry, I took it all
out and trashed it. You're good to go!. Have a nice day!." BAHAHAHA

Jeff,
Go back to the Dealer and raise hell, Tell them you want the PCM flashed
back like it was and I'll bet they'll say they can't do it. Then you tell
them that it really screwed up your gas mileage and you hold them
responsible
for it. They did this without asking you first. NEVER, let the dealer flash
your computer. It'll fu*kup something every time. FIGHT THEM OVER IT.
The flash probably retarded the timing and that gave you less power. Now
you're working the engine more. I've told my Dealer if they flash my
computer
I'll flash their ass. They put this note in their computer so when they
write
up a service ticket it appears in bold print on the printout.
Bill
