This is a real bitch. The main problem is you can't just get a new PCM
because it'll have all the updates already in it And if you found one in the
wrecking yard it'll have the VIN for that vehicle and the mileage. Jeff, I
wonder if you could find out exactly what the flash did and compare it with
the original before it was done.
Mike Leach in CA might be able to tell you what the original flash was.
You might talk to him about redoing it. It cost big money though + you got to
do without the truck for about 4-5 days for shipping PCM both ways. Damn, I
hate that. Bill
