SYMPTOM
P0442 - EVAP LEAK MONITOR MEDIUM (0.040) LEAK DETECTED

WHEN MONITORED
Immediately after a cold start, with battery/ambient temperature between
40 °F and 90 °F and coolant temperature within 10 °F of battery/ambient
temperature.

SET CONDITION
If there is a leak larger than 0.040" and smaller than 0.080" in the
evaporative system.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
Confirmed leak in the EVAP system
Intermittent LDP monitor failure

Anyone ever get P0442 code. I was pulling onto the turnpike and some
crackhead wouldn't merge to the passing lane to let me on, slammed the
brakes on, then got behind him onto the highway. I looked down and the
check engine light was on. Anyone know what P0442 is.
