Contact Chrysler and they will tell you what they told me. It messes up
the voltage going through the coils due to them running hotter and they
will burn the coils out over time. My '01 FSM states to never use
platinum plugs in this engine. Not saying yours doesn't run right but, I
myself would rather have the piece of mind. I'm sure those coils are
expensive to replace.

Why can't you use the platinums in the 4.7? I have
been ruinning Bosc +4's for 50k miles and almost 2
years without a problem.

If you have the 4.7 I have found
the direct replacement autolites work
well.
Whatever you do DO NOT put
platinum plugs in it. You'll burn up the
coils.
Sorry to hear about your first
dak I know how that feels, but good luck
on
your new one and welcome back!!
