Oh, ok, missed the wide ratio part. I don't have a lot done to my truck
right now, 50mm TB, IP Stage II intake, wires/plugs/cap/rotor, 180 tstat and
a custom 3" carsound/spintech exhaust. I do seem to have pretty good
traction, I've pulled a few 2.0 60' times with my stock RSAs, which I was
pleased to see. The 4.56's won't come until I do my other mods, I plan on
opening up the top end enough that I'll need something to pick up my low end
grunt again. By next summer I'll be running a 4bbl M1 with either a 52mm or
52x55mm TB, ported/matched 2.02 R/T heads, custom comp cam, 1.6 rr's and a
100-150 shot of nitrous. The nitrous will help on the track, but for daily
driving I'll lose a lot of my low end. I've talked to a few people who have
this same setup and went with the 4.56's and are very happy. Most have
reported about 3k rpm at 80mph on the highway, which is about what I was
running in my last Dakota with the 32" mud tires, so that's not too bad.
I'm very interested in Bernd's TT setup too, so who knows :) What kind of
times are you running with your powerdyne? I like the thought of a blower
or tt's cause you don't have to worry about the bottle running out, but then
there's also the tuning issues, and inital $$$ investment.
